RDCT is a Charity based at Royston Hospital that has been operating in Royston and the local villages for over 30 years. We offer door-to-door transport for people living in the local parishes who are unable to use conventional public transport and do not have the use of a car.

Many of the journeys are taken in our volunteers’ own cars. We also have a fully accessible minibus and a smaller wheelchair vehicle. These vehicles are expensive to run and are often the only affordable way wheelchair users can attend their medical appointments.

Our drivers wait whilst the passengers attend their appointment and return them home, directly to their door.

Our volunteers’ drivers have carried out over 5000 trips this year.
